Certificate Course FAQs

Which certificate course is best for a quick hospital job?

General Duty Assistant (GDA) has the widest demand. Almost every hospital and nursing home in Kolkata hires GDAs throughout the year. If you prefer laboratory work instead of ward duty, choose Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Laboratory Assistant.

Are these courses government recognised?

Yes. GDA and Phlebotomy Technician are aligned to the NCrF / NSQF Level 4 framework and approved through Skill India Digital Hub and NSDC. The Medical Laboratory Assistant course is affiliated to WBSCT&VE&SD, Government of West Bengal, under institute code HC22503.

How long does each course take to complete?

Course length is counted in training hours, not years. EMT Basic runs for 480 hours, both Phlebotomy Technician and Medical Laboratory Assistant run for 720 hours, and GDA runs for 900 hours. Most students finish within six to twelve months.

Do I get hospital training and placement support?

Yes. Every certificate course includes on-the-job training in a partner hospital or diagnostic lab. Between 60% and 70% of our students get hired by the same organisation where they trained.

What is the course fee?

Fees vary by course and batch. Call the helpline or click Apply Now to get the current fee structure. EMI options and the West Bengal Student Credit Card are accepted for eligible candidates.
