  • Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Baba Farid University of Health Science( State University of Punjab ) joint diploma programme in allied health accordance with National Commission for Allied Health Care Professional :Allied health Diploma courses are affiliated to the IMA Head Quarters in New Delhi.

    • The Genesis: Founded in 1992 in response to the rapid advancement of invasive and non-invasive medical diagnostics, which created an urgent demand for certified medical technicians.
    • Initial Offerings: Began with fundamental, entry-level certification and diploma courses. Early curricula focused on vital, baseline healthcare support like X-Ray technology, basic Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Physiotherapy and rudimentary nursing care.
    • Infrastructure: Started as a localized skill-development center catering primarily to high school graduates looking for immediate job placement or self-employment opportunities in municipal or private health clinics.
    2. Operational & Curricular Evolution +
    • Syllabus Modernization: Transitioned from manual laboratory techniques to high-tech digital diagnostics, incorporating specialized modern tracks like Computer based pathological sample analysis, Operation Theatre Technology (OTT), and Advanced Physiotherapy support under the affiliation of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (2003–2011).
    • Multi-Disciplinary Scale: Expanded beyond core paramedical skills into comprehensive holistic and rehabilitative care, including Physiotherapy, Optometry, and Laboratory Technique and ECG in collaboration Centre for Adult Education Rabindra Bharati University (2003–2007).
